Work on spelling, vocabulary, grammar, sentence diagramming, and editing skills. In the first semester, we read 3 novels, a memoir and a non-fiction work, discussing the country/time period, literary analysis, character development, sociology and psychology represented in each work. In the second semester, we focus on classic short stories. Novels: To Kill a Mockingbird, Great Expectations, God’s Smuggler, Mere Christianity, Animal Farm. This is a full year course. Once purchased, a book list and course outline will be emailed to you, and you can then be in contact via email with any questions as you go!
